OUR FESTIVALS

Our fellowship has 8 festivals in our yearly calendar. Four of them are Solar based and four of them are seasonal, based on the months of the year.

The holidays we celebrate are:

November 1 – The start of the Winter Months. For us, this is Alvablot.

December 21 – The Winter Solstice of the Sun. For us, this is Yule.

February 1 – The middle of the Winter Months. For us, this is Thorrablot.

March 21 – The Spring Equinox of the Sun. For us, this is Ostara.

May 1 – The start of the Summer Months. For us, this is Helgablot.

June 21 – The Summer Solstice of the Sun. For us, this is Midsommar.

August 1 – The middle of the Summer Months. For us, this is Harvest.

September 21 – The Autumn Equinox of the Sun. For us, this is Hostblot.

Our festival calendar was constructed around our shared experiences, our community involvement, and our historical research. We understand that it is not a representation of strict historical reconstruction.
