Four of them are Solar based and four of them are seasonal, based on the months of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The holidays we celebrate are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>November 1 \u2013 The start of the Winter Months. For us, this is Alvablot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>December 21 \u2013 The Winter Solstice of the Sun. For us, this is Yule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>February 1 \u2013 The middle of the Winter Months. For us, this is Thorrablot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>March 21 \u2013 The Spring Equinox of the Sun. For us, this is Ostara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>May 1 \u2013 The start of the Summer Months. For us, this is Helgablot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>June 21 \u2013 The Summer Solstice of the Sun. For us, this is Midsommar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>August 1 \u2013 The middle of the Summer Months. For us, this is Harvest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>September 21 \u2013 The Autumn Equinox of the Sun. For us, this is Hostblot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our festival calendar was constructed around our shared experiences, our community involvement, and our historical research.
